There are many myths surrounding Postpartum Depression and other Perinatal/Postpartum Mood Disorders. Basically, any time you’re not feeling like yourself, feeling overwhelmed, or feeling overly concerned about any aspect of motherhood or your new baby, you should seek help.  So many new moms feel that they must deal with their moods on their own or think they will pass. Anytime in the first year(s) of baby’s life, a mother (and her partner) are at risk for mood disorders.
